Bada Bagh

BadaBagh means ‘Huge Garden’. It was constructed in the early 16th century during the period of Maharawal Jait Singh. His son Lunakaran completed the construction after the demise of his father. That’s right, it was built by two generations and still is sturdy and amazing.

The garden served as a memorial where the nobles and their families were cremated. The garden is in an isolated area which gives it an erring calmness. The vibe of serenity is the one which makes you feel good and all the sweat, traveling and hustle you faced getting to Jaisalmer, seems worth it, totally worth it.

We suggest you visit this place during sunrise and sunset to capture some memorable photography. Everyone who has been to Jaisalmer has been to BadaBagh and appreciated its beauty in front of their friends. Just like you’d be doing after you come here.
